I am currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a project based in W/SW London. The client is a well known, established main contractor in the commercial and residential sectors.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Managing labour, materials and sub-contractors specialised installations in varying sections of Mechanical Installation.
Reporting directly to the Project Controller/Engineer.
Ensuring work is carried out safely, and in accordance with the project drawings and specification requirements.
THE INDIVIDUAL:
Must have Mechanical trade background.
Must be able to read Construction Drawings and regularly check for updates and revisions.
Must be able to record site progress on standard report forms.
Must know how materials are called off and record kept.
Must know how to check deliveries, keep paperwork, and chase shortages.
Must know Company Quality Standards and be able to snag to ensure a consistent quality finish.
Must be able to attend site meetings, attending on behalf of the Company, taking notes, keeping records.
Must be able to understand Site Programmes and how to resource labour and material put to work to achieve satisfactory progress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
SMSTS.
CSCS Card – Preferably Gold Installers Advanced.
Proven Management Installations.
