Electrical Design Engineer

I am currently looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an esteemed MEP specialist that provides fast-track mechanical and electrical fit-out across several sectors. This role is based in Central London, so it is essential that you are able to commute in order to be considered.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3yrs in an Electrical Design Engineer role and have a forward thinking, problem solving kind of outlook.

The job role may include some or all of the following duties:

• Designing systems and products using computer software
• Drawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment
• Managing power generation, transmission and distribution
• Working with renewable energy sources
• Managing and maintaining building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systems
• Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical developments
• Working with high and low voltage equipment
• Budgeting and estimating timescales
• Overseeing technicians and craftspeople
• Testing installations and systems
• Ensuring projects meet safety regulations
• Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmes
• Liaising with clients
• Managing maintenance programmes
