Site Supervisor
A privately owned Facilities Services Company which prides itself on looking after its people first, promoting staff autonomy and providing solid career development opportunities to ensure you reach your full potential, is currently looking for a Site Supervisor on one of their flag-ship commercial contracts in London.
You will be electrically biased, and confident to lead a team of up to six engineers with both mechanical and electrical engineering skills. HV certified and experienced in hands-on HV Switching, you will lead a team to oversee the Planned and Reactive Maintenance of up to three multi-story buildings.
Based in a prime London postcode, this is a static site and a daytime role from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Included Duties
- Supervise a team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Compile quotations to the client and keep a close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants.
- Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work, and comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
- Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire and water hygiene records and to ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are all kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
- Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk and take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Contract Manager.
Experience and Qualifications
- 17th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
- HV Authorised Person
- C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
- L8 Awareness
- Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices. A sound level of administration/organisational skills
- Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services and Building Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and skills and the ability to deal with staff and Customers at all levels, and able to demonstrate experience in managing contractors
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with experience in report writing, including intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

The role comes with a salary of between £47,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
