A fantastic opportunity to work for as established FM service provider situated in London. The successful candidate will be engineering biased with a wealth of building maintenance experience. In return the company are offering a competitive salary paying up to £50,000 based on experience / qualifications and career progression.
Hours of work & Salary Information
£50,000 per annum
07:00am to 19:00pm / 19:00pm – 07:00am (4 on 4 off – Days & Nights)
20 Shift Days Holiday
Key duties & responsibilities
Monitor mechanical plant
Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
Monitor the BMS systems
Escort specialist sub-contractors
Ensure all boiler reports are completed every shift, any anomalies raised to management.
Ensure that cooling/heating Systems and domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
Carry out PPM’s on FCU’s, pumps, pressurisation units, calorifiers and AHU’s
Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
Emergency lighting tests
Control Panels
Changing Ballast
BMS System – Monitor (i.e., Hot & cold)
Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
Maintain and update Logbooks
Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive maintenance is carried out to all client assets through operation of Planned Preventative Maintenance System.
Ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract. Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site.
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are completed in the form of job sheets.
To maintain & develop good client relationships.
Requirements
Mechanically or Electrically Qualified
HNC / City & Guilds – Mechanical Level 2 & 3
Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2&3
City & Guilds – 18th Edition (Essential)
A proven track record in Building Maintenance working
Good Communication Skills.
