Lead Engineer

Lead Engineer (Commercial Office) (Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00)- Holborn, London – Up to £45,000 Per annum

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Holborn, London. My client is looking for an Electrical Engineer that is able to turn his hand to mechanical duties that are to be based in a landlord services position looking after a static commercial office building located in London. The successful candidate will be Electrically qualified/biased (C&G or NVQ) and have a good understanding of building services.

The ideal candidate for the role will be someone qualified and looking for a role that will further their knowledge and practical understanding. In return, the company offers a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this unique and interesting site.

Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance to the following;

Duties:

Emergency Light Testing
Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
Monitor mechanical plant as well as Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
Monitor the BMS systems
Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes, small works, pat testing etc)
Lighting/Electrical fault finding
You may be asked to take part in building shutdowns
