Working Supervisor- Maintenance Contract – Cheltenham – Up to £40,000
GH Engage currently have a brilliant opportunity to work for an established private maintenance services company. My client is looking for a Hands-on Supervisor to be based across a number of commercial & residential premises in Cheltenham & surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will ideally be provided a vehicle for site use and ideally be multi-skilled with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold previous lead or supervisory experience. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work on this very unique maintenance contract.
Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and maintenance tasks.
- Report directly into the operations manager
- Assist in with the “day to day” running of the contract
- Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s alongside the management team
- Arrange specialist sub-contractors
- Management of all reports/site log books
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
- Attend client meetings if required
- Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance
- Lighting , Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary
- Up to £40,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 08:00am to 17:00pm
- 25 Days holiday

Requirements
- Electrically / Mechanically qualified
- C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 – Essential
- 18th Edition
- Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload
- Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
