Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 basic salary (including additional company benefits)

With a proud history spanning back 50 years, the business have developed a fantastic reputation for providing a “one stop” MEP design & build solution to the commercial office, education, heritage, hotel/ leisure, high end residential and science/ technology construction sectors. Fast forward to the present day and the business have grown to a turnover circa £60 million, whilst having developed longstanding relationships with a number of the UK’s leading developers and main contractors.
Due to continued growth and an increasing orderbook, an immediate vacancy has now arisen for a Mechanical Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career driven Mechanical Construction Manager/ Mechanical Project Manager to join an employer renowned for staff retention and support.
What are the key duties & responsibilities in this role?
- Leading between 1-3 projects concurrently.
- Taking full cradle to grave project ownership including initial pre-construction, project delivery, commissioning & client handover.
- Working in conjunction with the pre-construction & commercial team to produce/ agree programme.
- Attend and chair weekly progress meetings.
- Control installation ad commissioning activities.
- Prepare & submit applications/ variations.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with programme/ budget.
The ideal candidate for this position?
- Having achieved a mechanical time served apprenticeship or academic qualifications.
- A stable and proven career history, with upwards of five years mechanical building services experience.
- A real team player with effective planning & management capabilities.
- Strong written/ verbal communicational skills.
