Account Manager
A well-established and respected privately owned Facilities Services Company with a focus on the development of long-term sustainable customer relationships and employee empowerment are looking for an experienced and confident Account Manager. You will be technically skilled, have experience in profit and loss management, and confident to lead a team of up to three Technical Services Managers each of whom will have up to six direct reports. You will report directly to a director and oversee a total of 10 commercial buildings.
Based in a prime Northwest London postcode, this is a static site and a Monday to Friday role.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating and implementing planned and reactive maintenance procedures throughout the site
- Highly client facing role, ensuring client satisfaction, and appropriately addressing any immediate or long-term concerns
- Managing a Profit and Loss budget with a £3.5m base account budget
- Ensure Service Level Agreement’s and Key Performance Indicators are met and exceeded where possible
- Manage duties for a team of three Technical Services Managers and up to 16 engineers, providing technical support and guidance, identifying requirements for training, and implementing disciplinary procedures
- Monitoring and organising staff hiring policies where necessary
- Report to the Director
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety compliance
- Supervising subcontract labour through planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and high voltage environments
- Supervising specialist subcontractors and engineers during high voltage switching shutdown.
Experience and Requirements
- Electrical qualifications; C&G Electrical Installations levels 1, 2, and 3/HNC or equivalent
- 3 years of management experience
- 5 years’ experience within building services maintenance
- Well-presented and confident in client facing responsibilities.
- Profit and Loss experience
- Strong technical knowledge
- Previous experience on a flag-ship site, managing medium-large teams
