Job Title: Assistant Electrical Design Engineer
Salary: £30,000 basic salary (Plus additional company benefits)

My client is a multi-award winning mechanical & electrical building services contractor, located within London & Southeast England. The business offers complete concept, design, installation & aftercare MEP services to the construction industry. Since the mid 1970’s, they have developed an unrivalled reputation across the commercial, education, hotel/ leisure and residential sectors. Due to expansive growth, they now have an immediate requirement for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer.
This role offers a fantastic career opportunity for a Junior – Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, who is keen to further progress their career while gaining exposure to market leading schemes across London & the Southeast.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Shadow senior design staff, while working in conjunction with appointed M&E design consultancies, to successfully deliver MEP design deliverables.
- Provide engineering checks (Comprising of calculations, drawings & schematics).
- Assist with the management of electrical design processes (RIBA stage 2 – 5)
- Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks & BIM to interrogate consultant drawings.
- Attend regular design/ pre-construction team meetings.
- Assist the project delivery team, with on site design issues.
