ASSISTANT/JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYORS

GH Engage is currently recruiting Assistant/Junior Quantity Surveyors looking to work on exciting projects while working closely with the Senior QS who will provide ongoing training and guidance. We have positions available in the following construction sectors:

Healthcare

Education

Infrastructure

Aviation

Residential Developments

Commercial Developments

Hospitality Developments

Logistics Developments

Data Centre/Critical Environments Development

The role can include but is not limited to:

• Obtaining cost information (estimating data, quotations etc.)
• Obtaining and agreeing on procurement schedule
• Establishing valuation dates
• Raising invoices
• Submitting valuations
• Placing sub-contract orders
• Submitting cost value reconciliations
• Submitting and agreeing on the final account
• Visiting Sites
• Further Quantity Surveying duties

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications in either Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Accounting (or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations
• The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to contribute towards the resolution of disputes, problems, and cost issues
• Communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally

Salary: £20k-£35k based on experience + company benefits.

Positions are permanent and full-time.
