GH Engage is recruiting for some of our well-renowned consultancy clients who are actively seeking ASSISTANT/JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYORS, looking to work on exciting projects while working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors who will provide ongoing training and guidance in their welcoming work environments.
The role can include but is not limited to:
- Obtaining cost information (estimating data, quotations etc.)
- Obtaining and agreeing on procurement schedule
- Establishing valuation dates
- Raising invoices
- Submitting valuations
- Placing sub-contract orders
- Submitting cost value reconciliations
- Submitting and agreeing on the final account
- Visiting Sites
- Further Quantity Surveying duties
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications in either Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Accounting (or similar) in a construction based consultancy
- Excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations
- The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to contribute towards the resolution of disputes, problems, and cost issues
- Communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
Salary: £20k-£41k based on experience
