We are seeking a Building Fabric Operative for an in-house role based in the City of London, within one of London’s newest and most prestigious commercial towers.
You will take ownership of the buildings upkeep and fabric maintenance requirements, working in accordance with the service desk to keep on top of any issues.

Accountabilities:
- Completing all tasks as set out by the Service Desk Administrator and management team.
- Proactively identifying and maintaining all fixtures and fittings within the landlord’s domain.
- Painting and decorating
- Door repairs
- Lock replacements
- Making good small areas of wear and tear to common areas
- Building fabric repairs to washroom and shower facilities
- Ensure that any materials required to complete tasks are ordered in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with building fabric maintenance including stock inventory.
- Write basic scope of works and obtain quotations for contracted repairs.
- Accurately record monthly utility meter readings.
- Escort/supervise contractor visits.
- Identify, manage, and report any risks, accidents or near misses in a timely manner.
- Uphold the integrity of the company always and ensure the provision of high levels of customer service are provided.
- Assemble furniture where required.
- Carry out reasonable ad hoc duties as deemed necessary and within the role of a Building Fabric Maintainer.
Experience and Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience within building fabric maintenance.
- Highly skilled in carpentry and painting.
- Any relevant qualifications are beneficial.
- Experience in corporate buildings/towers preferred.

Depending on experience this job will pay £35,000 to £37,000 and comes with a generous package:
