Building Maintenance Engineer | Central London | Static | 7am – 4pm & 8am – 5pm | £40,000 + Call-Out
Are you a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience with facilities & building maintenance?
Due to contract expansion, we are currently recruiting an Engineer to work in a state-of-the-art commercial building in Central/West London, to deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance to the landlord.
This role is day shift, with one week being 7 am to 4 pm, and the next being 8 am to 5 pm.
Call-out 1 week in 4, which comes with £100 per week, plus any overtime at 1.5x salary rate (minimum 4 hours pay for any call-out).

You will join a small-to-medium-sized maintenance services provider that operates on several fronts within the built environment, delivering predominantly to commercial offices in London.
This maintenance position sits within one of the company’s many blue-chip, client accounts.
Duties:
- Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
- Electrical fault finding, wiring, control panels, sockets, circuits, ballasts, lamps, emergency lights, pumps, AHUs/FCUs (coil cleans, filter changes, belt changes), boiler resets, chiller checks, heat exchangers, basic water treatment, BMS monitoring, temperature changes, general fabric/plumbing works when required.
Experience and Requirements
- You will need to have a good written and spoken standard of the English language.
- Good skills in a wide range of work ranging from plumbing, electrical, mechanical work etc.
- You must be presentable and easy-going with a great ‘can do’ attitude.
- You will need to have at least 3 years of working Onsite building/office maintenance multi-skilled experience with a mechanical or electrical background.
- Health and Safety awareness and Competency.
- Good timekeeping and flexibility to make arrangements on site.
Benefits
Depending on experience this job will pay between £38,000 – £40,000 and comes with a generous package.
