A Contract Supervisor (FM and building maintenance) is required to oversee a team of two engineers in delivering maintenance to a large commercial site near Saffron Walden.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team on a fascinating site, delivering planned and reactive maintenance to the landlord services of a multi-building commercial/industrial campus.
Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
Overtime available.

Accountabilities:
- Supervise a small team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring that standards and targets are achieved.
- Plan, schedule and agree on daily/weekly workloads with the Account Manager.
- Ensure the team and contractors comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Supervise all planned and reactive maintenance activities to the following equipment:
- Air handling, conditioning, and terminal units -Fan Coil Units
- Domestic water services
- Fire prevention and detection systems
- Fire alarm and voice alarm
- VESDA
- Fire suppression
- Sprinkler
- Variable speed drives
- Generators, load banks and controls
- AC, DC single-phase and three-phase motors
- UPS systems, batteries, static switches, and associated controls
- Emergency lighting
Experience and Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory position.
- Either Electrically or Mechanically qualified.
- City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship
- 17th/18th
- Client-facing attitude.
