Are you a Level 3 qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer?
Due to ongoing growth, we are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work in an outdoor environment in East London, carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance to outdoor lighting, CCTV units, and some mechanical equipment, for an end-user property management company.
Continental Shift, Days & Nights – 7 to 7 o’clock.
This is a predominantly outdoors role, please only apply if this is of interest.
Duties:
- Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
- To identify and diagnose faults and to carry out repairs, adjustments, and other maintenance work as appropriate.
- Installation of lighting will be required.
- To carry out the required routine servicing, repair or adjustment of plant or machinery in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule as tasked by the Building Control Co-ordinator.
- Completing logbooks and RAMS, attending client meetings, Emergency lighting, and testing all Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, lighting systems and CCTV units.
- Abide by health and safety regulations.
- Updating on-site logbooks/compliance.
- Escorting sub-contractors, reviewing risk assessments, and issuing permits.
- Liaising with clientele within the premises.
Requirements:
- Full-time apprenticeship in an Electrical discipline.
- City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 certifications or NVQ Level 3.
- Previous experience working in a modern building services maintenance environment.
- Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS7671:2018) IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition (desirable)
- Experience with electrical installations is preferred.
