Are you a Technical Manager/Contract Manager in the facilities & building maintenance sector? Do you have experience managing engineers, building client relationships, and running contracts at a profit?
Due to recent contract wins, we are seeking a Technical Contract Manager to deliver a maintenance contract to a commercial office estate in the heart of Central London.
You will be joining a leading service provider and will work closely with the managing agent client on-site.
This is an on-site role, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Duties:
- Line management of a team of 5 multi-skilled maintenance engineers.
- Ensuring effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Management of a total P&L budget of approximately £2m; providing WIP reports, identifying and actioning opportunities for plus-cost works.
- Develop an effective working relationship with the client; attend regular meetings and understand their requirements and preferences.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications from City & Guilds or equivalent.
- Background in building services engineering; time-served on the tools.
- Experience in Technical or Contract Management positions within building maintenance.
- Demonstrable experience in managing profit & loss budgets.
- Experience in commercial environments and with managing agent clients is preferred.
