Contract Manager
A multi-billion-pound facilities maintenance company is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to help lead a team of up to five engineers on one of their large South London Retail Contracts. This organisation looks to make a difference for every person by taking care of its people.
You will be technically strong, keen to join a well-established organisation, and confident to lead a team of engineers with both mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
Based in South London, this is a static site and a Monday to Friday role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and implementing planned and reactive maintenance for the up to three buildings on this commercial site
- Managing a base profit and loss of around £1.2million.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met and exceeded where possible
- Management duties for a team of five engineers, providing technical support and guidance, identifying requirements for training, and implementing disciplinary procedures
- Reporting to the Account Manager
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety compliance
- Supervising subcontract labour through planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and high voltage environments
- Supervising specialist subcontractors and engineers during high voltage switching shutdown.
Experience and Requirements
- Electrical qualifications preferred; C&G Electrical Installations levels 1, 2, and 3/HNC or equivalent
- Mechanical qualifications accepted
- 3 years of management experience
- 5 years of experience in building services maintenance
- Well-presented and confident in client-facing responsibilities.
