Critical Shift Engineer (Projects & Building Maintenance)

Project/Shift Engineer | Continental Shift | City of London | Facilities Service Provider

£45,000 – £50,000 + £2,500 AP Bonus

Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm

Building Services – Maintenance & Projects

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Shift Engineer to join an established team of engineers on a static banking site in the heart of the City.

The role will suit someone with a background in critical maintenance, who is also experienced with small projects.

Continental shift pattern, days and nights, 7 to 7.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review SSoWs,
  • Permits to work, H&S,
  • Contractors sticking to SSoWs
  • Reviewing completed works
  • Escorting duties
  • Review Risk Assessments, give them the right permit for elec, mech or confined spaces
  • General critical building maintenance

Projects Include:

  • Electrical isolations
  • Fan coil replacements
  • Chiller replacements
  • Pipework modifications
  • New electrical distribution board replacements
  • Valve installations
  • BMS upgrades
  • Pump panels

Qualifications & Experience

  • City & Guilds Mechanical or Electrical NVQ 3 / Apprenticeship
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection
  • Experience working within a critical, commercial environment
  • Building services experience
  • DBS Clearance

Package & Benefits

  • Up to £50,000
  • AP Allowance of £2,500
