Deputy Operations Manager- FM Service Provider-West London, up to £65,000 per annum
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established building services company. My client is looking for a Deputy Operations Manager to be based at a large commercial site situated in West London.
The successful candidate will ideally be multi-skilled with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold previous experience as an engineering manager / Deputy Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will be from a building services background with a wealth of experience within building services. He or she will be based in a healthcare environment managing the on site engineering team and reporting directly into the Operations Manager.
In return the company are offering a competitive salary paying up to £65,000 per annum.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Report directly into the Operations Manager
- Assist in with the “day to day” running of the contract when required
- The delivery of a Hard FM contract, as assigned by the Company.
- The delivery of a Hard FM contract in line with agreed financial & operational targets.
- The delivery of a Hard FM contract, compliance to the employer’s requirements, with contract service levels demonstrable through agreed performance management criteria.
- Ownership and management and analysis of critical assets, assistance in the production and upkeep of a Contract Risk Register.
- Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
- Responsibility through the Operations Manager for the financial forecasting and reporting of pipeline, cost, sales, gross profit, and risk associated with a Hard FM Services contract.
- Responsibility through the Operations Manager for the compliance with statutory regulations, international standards, industry specific guidelines, employer and customer requirements
- Manage divisional business operations to achieve or exceed performance in accordance with the financial targets and service levels.
- Ensure plans are created and implemented to address risks and opportunities highlighted through own analysis or by others.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by working with subject experts to deliver all aspects of my work at the lower cost without comprising quality and service.
- Drive and develop revenue generation from existing operations, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Hours of Work & Salary
- Up to £65,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
- 8am – 5pm
- Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
Requirements
- Engineering Qualification (HNC, HND or Degree Level in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Construction)
- you must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
