Building Services – Maintenance
Are you a fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience working within District Heating, and Heating and Cooling building services?
Due to contract expansion, we are currently recruiting for an experienced District Heating Maintenance Engineer to work in East London, carrying out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance within a team of engineers.
This role is working on a Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm basis. There is no call out on the contract but there is available paid overtime.
Duties & Responsibilities
- PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) and reactive maintenance.
- Mechanical Fault-Finding.
- Gas boiler systems, chillers, and water distribution systems across the site.
- Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works as instructed on plant.
- Attend, diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.
- Weekly water condition testing in accordance with L8.
- Preventative, remedial and statutory maintenance of Commercial boiler plant, and associated controls and pumps.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full-time apprenticeship in a mechanical Building Services HVAC discipline complete with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or working towards.
- Previous experience working on District Energy systems, and able to demonstrate a basic understanding of Heating and Cooling building services.
