Company Overview
A leading ductwork and HVAC contractor is seeking a Ductwork Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of ductwork installation projects across the Greater London area. This is a pivotal role that requires strong technical knowledge of ductwork systems and proven project leadership experience to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing site teams and subcontractors, liaising with clients and consultants, and ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and building regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to step into a role offering responsibility, progression, and long-term stability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of ductwork installation projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents for compliance.
- Plan, monitor, and report on project progress, costs, and resource allocation.
- Oversee quality control, testing, and inspection processes.
- Manage health, safety, and environmental compliance across all sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues efficiently.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in ductwork or HVAC installation projects.
- Strong knowledge of fire-rated smoke extract systems, DW 144 environmental ductwork systems, and MSFDs (Mechanical Smoke and Fire Dampers).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems is advantageous.
- Valid SMSTS certification (mandatory) and CSCS card.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
