Job Title: Electrical Project Lead
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 (including additional company benefits)

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based within the heart of Central London who deliver specialist commercial, pharmaceutical, and mixed-use developments across London and the UK. Due to business growth and a strong pipeline for the future, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Lead to run the Electrical packages for the development of a flagship high rise mixed-use and retail development that is set to bring a lot of traction and popularity to the Central East region of London.
As this scheme is meant to be taken place over a long period of time and will be a multiple phase job. They are looking for Electrical Project Managers with experience being the lead for schemes valued £20 million and upwards to be able to handle to size and complexity of the project.
This Is a great opening for any high-end residential, retail or leisure specialists to continue demonstrating their skills in the industry.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- You will need to be an experienced Electrical Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager … etc for the last 8 years or more.
- Experience in delivering a project from design through to handover.
- To be able to produce O&M
- Procurement and financial experience are required.
- Strong liaising skills with both sub-contractors on site and Clients.
- Shell and core experience is essential.
- Experience in managing Residential, retail or leisure projects upwards from £15 million M&E.
- Possess a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Procurement and management of sub-contractors.
- Attend and run weekly meetings with the client and delivery teams.
- Having previous experience working for a large M&E contractor.
- Strong commercial and financial experience.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent clients facing skills.
- Experience handling both M&E packages are useful.
- Further education in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

- A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
