Job Description:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Project Managers/Contracts Managers to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. The successful candidates will manage and oversee projects ranging from £7 million to £15 million, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of mechanical/electrical project management from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with main contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
Contracts Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and company policies.
- Resolve any contractual disputes or issues promptly.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
Quality and Safety:
- Implement and maintain stringent quality control and safety measures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management/contract management within the mechanical/electrical sector.
- Proven track record of managing projects up to £7 million.
- Experience with life sciences design and large-scale new builds.
Skills:
