Electrical /Mechanical Shift Engineer | East London, Docklands | £40,000 – £45,000
Are you experienced in commercial / critical maintenance? Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in the Docklands area?
We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer for a critical building in East London. This role will involve joining a team of maintenance engineers to carry out PPM’s and Reactive maintenance duties on site on behalf of a well established service provider.
Technical duties will involve but not be limited to; electrical fault finding, wiring, emergency lighting, ballasts, lamps, sockets, power distribution, power factor correction units, HV switching, transformers, UPS, AHU’s/FCU’s – belt changes, filter changes, coil cleans, boiler reset, chiller checks, hot/cold water systems, pressurisation units, generator tests, pumps, fire alarm tests, sprinkler system, AC/CRAC units etc.
Package:
- £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary dependant on experience
- Working on a continental shift basis – days and nights (4 on, 6 off, 6 on, 4 off)
- 20 shift holidays

Requirements:
- City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Experience in commercial / critical maintenance
- Ideally HVAP (Current or Expired) however this is preferable opposed to essential
