An Engineering Account Manager is required by a leading building services and facilities services provider. You will be responsible for the delivery of an M&E maintenance contract to a commercial campus in the City of London, overseeing Contract Managers, Supervisors, and a 24/7 shift team. This is a client facing role on a flagship Account and requires an experienced and motivated operative.

You will be working for a leading facility and building maintenance service provider in the City of London. They are an established company with an impressive portfolio of corporate clients across several sectors. Having recently won some new contracts across London, they are now in the process of growing their team to account for their success.
Accountabilities:
- Managing a P&L budget; identifying opportunities for added value.
- Responsible for delivery of planned and reactive maintenance in-line with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Provide leadership for all employees on the account.
- Responsibility for all members of staff, ensuring all engineers are trained to an appropriate level and are performing to or above expectations.
- Implementing and effective hiring policy to hire the best talent in an efficient manager.
- Implementing an effective health and safety strategy and ensuring good compliance levels.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with the client, addressing any concerns appropriately.
- Monitoring and overseeing sub-contractors.
Experience and Requirements
- You must have an electrical engineering background; either City & Guilds 18th Edition or NVQ Level 2 & 3.
- You will have a very strong all round technical knowledge and compliance record.
- Previous Supervisory/Management experience is required.
- Experience with building shutdowns and HV/LV switching is ideal.
- You will have successfully managed P&L budgets.
- Managed a large team on a flagship static site.
