Though much of their work is outsourced to service providers, they still operate a sizeable in-house team of maintenance and project engineers who deliver a first-class service to ensure business-as-usual operations in this mission-critical environment.
Job
A Shift Manager (Engineering Maintenance) with experience in mission-critical environments is required to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on a 24/7 continental shift pattern within a Data Centre in East Berkshire. Responsibilities will include witnessing critical and general building maintenance, as well as overseeing delivery by the out-sourced sub-contractor on site.
Accountabilities:
- Witnessing critical works.
- Management of M&E works/maintenance work.
- Ensuring BAU with zero downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with KPI’s and SLA’s.
- Oversight of sub-contractors; ensuring service is delivered to an exceptional standard.
- Ensuring adherence to health & safety requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in data centres/critical environments.
- Incident management experience in mission-critical environments.
- Mechanical/Electrical background and appropriate qualifications.
- Experience maintaining BMS’ and fire alarm systems.
