FIRE DETECTION – INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER – LONDON & M25 – £50,000 + VAN & FUEL CARD

GH Engage are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work for an established specialist Fire & Security company situated in London. We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Installation and Commissioning Engineers to work in a variety of commercial & residential properties across London and the M25.

The successful candidate will come from a strong technical background and have experience carrying out Installation & Commissioning of a variety of fire detection systems.

In return the company are offering a competitive salary paying up to £50,000, Van & Fuel card.

PACKAGE

• Salary: up to £50,000
• Working Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Holiday: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays – Option to increase by 5 days

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install a variety of fire detection systems
• Commission and test newly installed fire detection systems
• Conduct site surveys to determine the fire protection requirements
• Ensure compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current British Standards
• Troubleshoot and identify and resolved system malfunctions or deficiencies
• To report on a daily basis to supervisor/manager on the status of all works within the department and advise in good time, problems of time-scale or resources
• Maintain industry training and kept up-to-date with the latest fire alarm system technologies, codes, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant certifications / qualifications & Accreditations (e.g. FIA, IFEDA, BAFE Etc (Highly desirable).
• Excellent communications skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Expert knowledge in fire detection systems – Notifier and/or Advanced Fire Alarm systems (
• Proficient in performing site surveys, system design, and commissioning of fire detection systems.
• Strong understanding of local fire codes and regulations
