Foot-mobile Engineer (Commercial Offices) (Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00)- Central London – Up to £38,000 Per annum
An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Central London. My client is looking for an Electrical Footmobile Engineer that is able to turn his hand to mechanical duties that are to be looking after commercial office buildings located in Central London. The successful candidate will be Electrically qualified/biased (C&G or NVQ) and have a good understanding of building services.
The ideal candidate for the role will be someone qualified and looking for a position that will further their knowledge and practical understanding. In return, the company offers a competitive salary, overtime, and the chance to work at this unique and interesting site.
Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance to the following;
Duties:
- Emergency Light Testing
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Monitor mechanical plant as well as Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes, small works, pat testing etc)
- Lighting
- Electrical fault finding
- You may be asked to take part in building shutdowns

Requirements
- Electrical qualifications – NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Good communication skills
- HV is a bonus but not necessary
