Handy Person – Carpentry Background

Maintenance Handy Person | London | £120 – £150 pr day

Are you an experienced handy person? Do you have experience within domestic maintenance?

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Handy Person to work on a mobile basis across Greater London. This will be working across social housing environments carrying out basic fabric maintenance duties ie: door hinges, replacement locks, smoke seals, adjustments, plumbing – blockages, taps etc, patch tiling etc.

This role can be either as a permanent employee for the company (PAYE) or can be working as a self employed contractor. Rates are either;

• £150 per day – using your own personal vehicle with the company paying for fuel, congestion charge and any other associated charges.

Or

• £120 per day – using a company vehicle.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Requirements:

• Experience within domestic or commercial maintenance.
• City and Guilds in a trade ie: Carpentry, Plumbing etc would be preferable but not essential.
• Full UK driving license.
