Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Salary: £45,000 (including additional company benefits)

Company Description
My client is a rapidly expanding M&E provider based in Cambridge. The business has focused on delivering high quality installations and maintenance to customers in commercial offices, education, residential buildings, and airspace facilities. My client has now been acquired by an international leading private equity firm based in the United States. Due to this exciting and business evolving change to the company, they are now looking for a Health and Safety Officer to oversee strategy management of Health & Safety of a large 5-year project in the Mildenhall area. This is a great opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to work for a dynamic and innovative building Services Contractor with the view to help you further your career and knowledge of the industry.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- The individual should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar position.
- Recognize the Policies and Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the operations and guarantee that the requirements are implemented.
- Handling and executing site inspections.
- Directing and setting Operational team safety objectives.
- Supporting and undertaking investigations into accidents and incidents
- Evaluating external environments for safe working
- Pinpointing any gaps in the H&S management system; recommending improvements
- Developing and implementing new initiatives or sharing best practice with colleagues
- Advising on and communicating new working practices in line with any new legislative requirements or best practice
- Actively enforcing Safety Observations and Hazard Reporting
