Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor

Salary: £45-55,000 (including additional company benefits)

Location: Central London

Company Description

A Leading Building Services Contractor are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor who has previously worked for a M&E Contractor to oversee 3 large landmark Projects at London Bridge (10 minute radius between each project). this induvidual needs to be keen to progress as my client aree looking for somone to step into a Regional managerial position within the first 16-18 months of employment.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

• Ideally the individual should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a similar position.
• The Individual should ideally have an electrical bias over mechanical. However, both M&E knowledge is a MUST.
• Understand the Policies and Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the operations and ensure that the requirements are implemented.
• Managing and executing site inspections.
• Advising on and setting Operational team safety objectives.
• Supporting and undertaking investigations into accidents and incidents
• Assessing external environments for safe working
• Identifying any gaps in the H&S management system; recommending improvements
• Developing and implementing new initiatives or sharing best practice with colleagues
• Advising on and communicating new working practices in line with any new legislative requirements or best practice
• Actively encouraging Safety Observations and Hazard Reporting

Remuneration Package

• A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record)
