Job Title: Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £50,000 – 65,000 (including additional company benefits)

A leading Major Works building Services Contractor is actively seeking an Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor who is driven to progress and become a senior in the coming few years. The company in question provide their services to a select range of sectors such as commercial, Data centre, critical services, and Industrial industries. My client is looking for someone to have been already working with a known company in the industry with major works experience as my client is known for delivering projects in the UK ranging from £35 million to £300 million M&E. The career driven candidate will be heavily involved in a landmark industrial Upgrades project in the West of London for a blue-chip contractor.

Responsibilities
- The preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts
- Liaise with the Contracts Managers in the procurement of Sub-Contractor packages and the preparation of the Sub-Contract documents.
- Supporting the monitoring of the progress of the Works
- The preparation and submission of contractual notices and / or correspondence to both the Client and Sub-Contractors
- Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets
- Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide update on any ongoing contract specific negotiations and overall job performance.
- Compile monthly progress reports for both the Contracts team & Commercial Manager.
- preparing material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting.
- Liaising, negotiating, and relationship building with clients and consultants on an on-going basis
- Be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations, and managing variations and change orders.
- Liaising with contracts, estimating and pre-construction teams to obtain full understanding of each project scope.
