Junior Quantity Surveyor

GH Engage is recruiting a JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR for one of our well known consultancy clients to immediately join their commercial team.

The role can include but is not limited to:

• Establishing valuation dates.
• Submitting cost value reconciliations.
• Obtaining cost information (estimating data, quotations, etc.)
• Obtaining and agreeing on procurement schedule.
• Raising invoices.
• Submitting valuations.
• Placing sub-contract orders.
• Supporting the Commercial Team and Lead Quantity Surveyor.
• Further Quantity Surveying duties.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualifications in either Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Experience within a PQS/Consultancy firm.
• Excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations.
• The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to contribute towards the resolution of disputes, problems, and cost issues.
• Communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 based on experience
