Land Surveyor

GH Engage is recruiting for one of our well-established clients looking to hire a LAND SURVEYOR to join their welcoming work environment.

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Ensuring that accurate, comprehensive and up to date records are kept of all on-site works.
• Ensuring Quality control of survey data using on site verification methods and post survey analysis, utilising instrument processing software.
• Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD and GIS Programs.
• Advising clients and providing support to junior staff and colleagues on technical matters.
• Responsibility for onsite project management.
• Responsibility for onsite liaison with client staff and other relevant third parties.
• Preparation of Survey Drawings and associated reports, ensuring that deliverables are submitted on time and to a high standard.
• Training colleagues on the proper procedures, processes, equipment and systems to ensure ongoing competence.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years Land & Measured Building Surveying experience.
• The ability to demonstrate expertise in both manual and automated site surveying techniques and data processing.
• Good working knowledge of Land Surveying using Total Stations and GPS systems
• Experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Preferably a HND in surveying or equivalent

Salary and Benefits includes:

• £30K-£40K per annum based on experience
