GH Engage are currently recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial estate based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in commercial building maintenance. The ideal candidate for this position will have a technical engineering background, be looking to progress their career further and take the lead on a maintenance engineering team.
In return the company are offering a salary of £40,000 per annum with a potential route into further management.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
A static position for a Lead M&E building Services engineer to carry out reactive planned and reactive preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment as well as building fabric.
The position is for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to work within a large engineering team based at a commercial estate in Hatfield.
- To assist specialist subcontractors’ requirements both for PPM and reactive works
- To ensure all site procedures are adhered to in all aspects
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s alongside the Supervisor & Contract Manager
- Arrange specialist sub-contractors
- Management of all reports/site log books
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
- Manage Engineering Team
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Salary & Package
- £40,000
- Monday – Friday 08:00 -17:00.
- 25 days Holiday
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ – Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
- 18th Edition IEE
- L8 Awareness
