Maintenance Carpenter / Fabric Technician | £31,000 basic salary | Shift Position
Due to an increase in demand, we are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician from a carpentry background to work at a extremely large, prestigious commercial premises.
You will be working as part of a large facilities team carrying out all PPM’s and reactive maintenance duties to ensure maximum running efficiency of the site. The team will include electricians, mechanical engineers, and other fabric technicians from a variety of backgrounds.
Duties will be biased towards carpentry but will include all round building services duties ie: hanging doors, woodwork, fire doors, repairing locks, windows, toilet blockages, tap changes, patch tiling, painting and decorating, light changes etc.
The site will also have minor project / refurbishment works on-going that you will be able to be involved in.
Package:
- £31,000 basic salary
- Hours: 7am – 7pm / 7pm – 7am (Alternating weeks)
- Shift Pattern: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off

Requirements:
- City and Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry
- Experience in commercial maintenance
- Willing to turn your hand to other trades / general building services duties.
