Building Maintenance Engineer | Central London | Foot Mobile | 8am – 5pm | £37,000
Are you a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience with facilities & building maintenance?
Due to contract expansion, we are currently recruiting a Foot Mobile Engineer to work in 4 state-of-the-art commercial buildings in Central/West London, to deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
All travel in zones 1 & 2 (where all sites are) is covered.
You will be on each site for approximately a week at a time – not multiple sites per day.

You will join a small-to-medium-sized maintenance services provider that operates on several fronts within the built environment, delivering predominantly to commercial offices in London.
This maintenance position sits within one of the company’s many blue-chip, client accounts.
Duties:
- Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
- Cover sick/holiday leave where required on client sites.
- To provide a multi-skilled support service to the building and carry out routine tasks on a daily/ weekly basis as defined by the site’s Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System. This is for electrical, mechanical, and heating ventilation services and Building Management Systems.
Experience and Requirements
- You will need to have a good written and spoken standard of the English language.
- Good skills in a wide range of work ranging from plumbing, electrical, mechanical work etc.
- You must be presentable and easy-going with a great ‘can do’ attitude.
- You will need to have at least 3 years of working Onsite building/office maintenance multi-skilled experience with a mechanical or electrical background.
- Health and Safety awareness and Competency.
- Good timekeeping and flexibility to make arrangements on site.
