Maintenance Night Shift Engineer (Client side) (4-on 4-off, 7pm-7am)-East London – Up to £48,000 Per annum
An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in East London. My client is looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to be based in a client-side position looking after a static commercial office building located in East London. The successful candidate will be Electrically or mechanically qualified / biased (C&G or NVQ) and have a good understanding of building services.
The ideal candidate for the role will be someone qualified and looking for a role that will further their knowledge and practical understanding. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this very unique and interesting site.
Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance to the following;
Duties:
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- Lighting/Electrical fault finding
- You may be asked to take part in building shutdowns

Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical qualifications – NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Good communication skills
- HV is a bonus but not necessary
