A Maintenance Supervisor (facilities management and building maintenance) is required on a trophy site in the City of London for a Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm role. You will deliver a building maintenance contract to a static site consisting of multiple buildings; commercial, retail, and high-end residential. You will oversee two M&E Engineers and report directly to the Contract Manager.

Our client is an international facilities management and building maintenance company that operates across the built environment to deliver maintenance contracts, soft services and project works to a large variety of clients, from blue chip financial corporations to local governments and more. A large part of their business is to deliver M&E maintenance contracts to static corporate sites within the City of London and the surrounding areas, including commercial offices, retail, and high-end residential sites.
Accountabilities:
- Supervise the team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring that standards and targets are achieved.
- Plan, schedule and agree daily/weekly workloads with the Contract Manager.
- Ensure the team and contractors comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Supervise all planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance across the client portfolio as and when required (Working / Hands on supervisor role).
Experience and Requirements
- City and Guilds qualified – Electrical Engineer.
- 17th or 18th edition.
- IOSH – desirable.
- Substantial experience working within M&E building maintenance.
- Demonstrate experience & understanding of current Health & Safety.
- Experience in Supervisory role.
- Good Customer relationship skills.
- Commercial and financial awareness in a client environment.
