Maintenance Supervisor – Central London – Up to £55,000 per annum + Package
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a market leading UK building services company. My client is looking for a Hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to be based across an ever growing commercial portfolio in Central London.
The successful candidate must hold previous supervisory experience and will be from a multiskilled engineering background with a proven track record in building services. The role will be perfect for an experienced FM Supervisor who is looking to make the transition into a future Contract Management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall running of 10+ sites and managing the maintenance team of 5 + engineers.

The ideal candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and hands on tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all maintenance related tasks arising in the development.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the agreed timescales, managing the workload accordingly.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities and prioritise business needs.
- Consistently communicate effectively, in an appropriate manner, whilst building and maintaining positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Maintain and facilitate regular communication with the client
- Ensure regular M&E maintenance is carried out throughout the development. Scheduled maintenance duties include testing fire alarms and emergency lighting, inspecting the plant room and light mechanical and electrical maintenance of infrastructure.
- Complete an annual service of all apartments involving: Heating & Cooling, Hot water / HIU’s, FCU’s, Controls, etc.
- Liaise with and effectively manage sub-contractors for both major systems and plant.
- Complete comprehensive site PPM Reports on a monthly basis.
- Uphold high levels of communication with the client, responding to queries and requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure all service records are recorded accurately, with all relevant information detailed, within the agreed timelines.
- Attend out of hours call outs as and when required.
- Overall, to undertake all reasonable requests in line with this role and the wider business requirements.
- To adhere to all H&S legislation in place when carrying out any duty in line with this role.
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s
- Management of all reports/site log books
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
- Attend client meetings if required
Hours of Work & Salary
- £55,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 08:00am to 17:00
- 25 Days Holiday
- Zones 1 & 2 Travel Card
Requirements
- Electrically or Mechanically qualified
- C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 – Essential
- Relevant experience commercial building maintenance
