Job Description
An experienced and mechanically strong Maintenance Supervisor is required to manage and assist a team of electrical and mechanical engineers in this busy Kensington Hotel. This is a Mon – Fri, 8am -5pm role.

Though predominantly a supervisory role, some hands-on work may be required.

Included Duties
- Supervise a team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Actively assist in the involvement of hiring new members of a growing team.
- Oversee and coordinate a schedule of shift and daytime engineers to minimise impact on the day to day running of the building.
- Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire and water hygiene records and to ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are all kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
Experience and Qualifications
- 17th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
- C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
- L8 Awareness
- Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices. Sound level of administration/organisational skills
- Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services and Building Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and skills and the ability to deal with staff and Customers at all levels, and able to demonstrate experience of managing contractors
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with experience of report writing, including intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

The role comes with a salary of between £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
