My client is a leading mechanical & electrical contractor, with a strong presence across the UK & Europe. The business is well renowned for providing cutting edge M&E engineering solutions to the commercial, pharmaceutical/ healthcare, data centre, infrastructure & civil sectors.
Due to significant growth, they are now seeking a MEP BIM Coordinator, with extensive piping design experience. The role will be based in head office (South West Ireland) & report directly to the group BIM Manager. Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Lead the M&E coordination across various flagship infrastructure & commercial projects.
- Liaising and collaborating with BIM teams.
- Overseeing the QA/ QC process on all models/ drawings.
- Applying and executing piping design and implementing best installation practices.
- Seeking prefabrication opportunities & developing models prefabrication modules.
- Produce weekly updates of Navisworks model & issuing clash detection reports.
- Working collaboratively with operational teams
