Job Title: M&E CAD Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 basic salary

Our client specialises in providing forward thinking MEP engineering solutions to the commercial office, data centre, healthcare, hotel/ leisure and residential sectors. This role will directly report to the Technical Director, responsible for leading internal CAD functions and producing detailed MEP drawings, while adhering to project deadlines. This vacancy presents a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced M&E CAD Manager, to join a dynamic building services contractor offering long term career progression & support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading day to day CAD activities, while using software including AutoCAD 2D/ 3D, Microsoft Office, Navisworks & Revit MEP.
- Producing detailed mechanical & electrical drawings, working across multiple MEP projects.
- Interrogating specifications and schedules throughout drawing production.
- Taking a hands-on approach to CAD activities, while managing a team of up to eight staff members.
- Ideally the individual should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a building services
Experience & Personality
- A minimum of 10 years MEP CAD coordination experience.
- Prior experience of managing a team of CAD Technicians & Coordinators.
- Ability to review and query detailed specifications, ensuring the production of accurate drawings.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A dedicated and proactive approach to work activities.
