You will be joining one of the UK’s foremost data centre companies; they design, build, operate, and maintain data centres, owning the process from cradle to grave. They manage the lifecycle with their own in-house team of design, install and maintenance engineers, as well as outsourcing to world-class sub-contracting partners.
Job
An M&E Engineer is required to join a first-class team in a data centre based in West London. This is a wide-ranging role including installation and upgrades to various building components, from lighting to UPS and fire-suppression systems, as well as some conceptual design and commissioning.
Accountabilities:
- Undertake various projects of an engineering nature, under supervision of Subject Matter Experts.
- Correlate, check and report on the capacity elements and installed infrastructure within the data centres as part of the data centre capacity management.
- Electrical/mechanical Commissioning.
- Fire alarm/suppression system design/installation.
- Installation and upgrades to BMS’.
Experience and Requirements:
- OND/ HND in engineering or equivalent would be preferable.
- AM2/JIB Gold Card.
- Experience in mission-critical environments.
- Experience with installations, commissioning, and some design.
- Experience with BMS/building controls.
