Job Title: M&E Project Manager
Location: East London
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum

Role Overview: GH Engage seeking an experienced and highly skilled M&E Project Manager to join our client’s team in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of a high-spec residential and hotel project with a value of approximately £10 million. This is a permanent role starting at the pre-construction stage with a programme set to complete at the end of 2025.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
- Oversee the MEP elements of the project from pre-construction through to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with other project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical Oversight:
- Ensure all MEP installations meet high-quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Liaise with design teams to review and approve MEP designs and specifications.

Budget Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring MEP costs are controlled and within allocated limits.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of MEP engineers and subcontractors.
- Provide technical guidance and support, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and plan upcoming tasks.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for MEP-related queries from clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on MEP work progress and any challenges encountered.
- Ensure client requirements and specifications are clearly understood and met.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on high-spec residential and hotel projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices, and industry regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications at City & Guilds NVQ, HNC, or degree level in a related field.
