Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 (including additional company benefits)

Company Description
I am recruiting a Mechanical Estimator on behalf of a leading M&E building services contractor. The business T/O in excess of £50 million and operate across the commercial, educational, healthcare, defence, industrial, residential and data centre spaces.
My client now have an opening for a Mechanical Estimator, in relation to a flagship infrastructure upgrade located in the Cambridgeshire region. The role is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to manage a landmark development valued upwards of £100 million (MEP).
Responsibilities
- Review and complete tender documents and ensure compliance
- Finding engineering solutions to create a commercial advantage over competitors
- Dispatching enquiries for all required materials and liaising with specialist sub‐ contractors to ensure compliance with the tender documents
- Preparing offer letters detailing tender qualifications
- Preparation of all documents to meet the company standards and format
- After tender submission ensure all tenders are chased and all directors and managers are kept informed of the bid prospects
- Supervise, mentor, and encourage all subordinate staff
- possessing a client facing attitude to be the crucial company representative
- Attend all weekly Estimating Meetings.
- Attend and lead all Engineer Handover meetings.

- A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record)
