Job Title: Mechanical Manager (Nights)
Salary: £300-£360 Day Rate

Company Description
A well-respected main contractor who operates in the landmark commercial office, hotel & residential sectors are actively looking for a Mechanical Manager to oversee a flagship commercial office refurbishment and extension in Charing Cross on the backshift.
Th right individual will have experience working on a large commercial new build for either a M&E Sub-contractor or main contractor. For this role, the individual will need to be able to read mechanical design and programmes whilst also managing sub-contractors. This project has 6 months left till completion with the idea of moving onto their next project in central London.
Responsibilities
- Manage the programme of works.
- Oversee all sub-contractors.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the project is delivered to the highest standard.
- Carry out Mechanical Commissioning meetings & produce meeting notes with M&E contractors / consultants & clients
- Working hours are 4pm till 11pm.
- Review Commissioning method statements.
- Set up procedures for snagging and commissioning installations prior to practical completion.
- Assist final project handover client familiarisation on M&E systems.
- Review M&E trade packages in line with design information and Employer Requirements prior to enquiry – including liaising with Technical Co-ordinator.
- Assist the Construction Team in monitoring and reviewing Building Services Installation on Contracts (including site visits) against specification and design requirements.
- Assist in reviewing subcontractor submissions prior to appointment.
