Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor- FM Service Provider – London Liverpool Street – Up to £50,000 per annum
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established UK building services company. My client is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to be responsible for on site management of both the building and the engineering team.
The successful candidate will ideally be multi-skilled with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and must hold previous supervisory experience, The successful candidate will be from a strong technical engineering background.
Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Report directly into the Contract Manager
- Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s alongside the Contract Manager
- Arrange specialist sub-contractors
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
- Attend client meetings if required
- Manage Engineering Team
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary
- Up to £50,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 08:00am to 17:00pm
- 25 Days Holiday
Requirements
- Mechanically qualified
- C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 – Essential
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
- Attend client meetings if required
- Offer technical support to the Contract Manager, client and onsite maintenance team
