Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (including additional company benefits)

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based within the heart of Central London. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager who will be the Project Directors number one responsible for managing a select number of their flagship commercial office design and build schemes in Central London. The reason they have come to me is due to their expected growth which has been exceeded for the past 20 years and they now need to expand their team for the future development of the company to keep being the most dynamic M&E contractor in London.
This is a great opportunity for anyone coming from both an Engineering background and Site management background that feels their skills are suited to being a vital part of project delivery and maintaining excellent on-site relations with the client and sub-contractors on site and during progress meetings.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Strong liaising skills with both sub-contractors on site and Clients.
- You will need to be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager … etc for the last 4 years or more.
- Experience in delivering a project from design through to handover.
- Shell and core experience is essential.
- Experience in managing Commercial office projects between £1-7 million.
- Possess a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- Procurement and management of sub-contractors
- Attend and run weekly meetings with the client and delivery teams
- Having previous experience working for a Main Contractor or large M&E contractor
- Strong commercial and financial experience
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Excellent clients facing skills
- Industry Standard HVAC / Heating and Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Qualifications and Certificates
Remuneration Package
- A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
