Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £60,000 – £85,000 (including additional company benefits)

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based within the heart of Central London who are a known player in the Commercial new build, mixed-use and data centre sectors. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager who will be the number one responsible for managing a select number of their flagship commercial office design and build schemes in Central London approx.15-minute walk from Liverpool Street. The reason they have come to me is due a strong pipeline of schemes in Central London and they are know looking for a client facing and forward-thinking Project manager who has come from either an Engineering or Trades background but is extremely component of all technical details.
This is a stellar opportunity to gain experience with a company who are known for delivering projects under the correct procedures with a contractor who takes great pride in their design on commercial office new builds valued from £15 – £50 million M&E.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Strong liaising skills with both sub-contractors on site and Clients.
- You will need to be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, Project Engineer, Construction Manager … etc for the last 5 years or more.
- Experience in delivering a project from design through to handover.
- Shell and core experience is essential.
- Experience in managing Commercial office projects between £5-10 million.
- Possess a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Procurement and management of sub-contractors.
- Attend and run weekly meetings with the client and delivery teams.
- Having previous experience working for a Main Contractor or large M&E contractor.
- Strong commercial and financial experience.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent clients facing skills.
- Industry Standard HVAC / Heating and Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Qualifications and Certificates.

- A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
